My Little Bree is 6 Months

I can't believe my little girl is 6 months old. January has been quite the busy month for her. She got 2 front bottom teeth in last week and the very next day, she learned to wave hi/bye. She's so adorable when she waves! Two weeks prior, she leaned to roll completely over. In December, she learned to roll from her back onto her tummy but wasn't able to get onto her back again. She currently weighs 20 lbs. 4.5 oz and is 26 3/4 in. Brianna is a very big girl, not to mention adorable!!! Brianna has been eating fruits/veggies since last month and a few days ago, began eating Gerber puff snacks. She is right on track with her motor skills and I'm just waiting to see if she's going to be a crawler. She is a talker like her big sissy but I think she's going to have the girly, squealy voice. I always ask her to show me her dimples and she always lets out this huge smile. Now, she shows me her teeth. It's funny! Her favorite song is the 'Itsy Bitsy Spider" and when I begin to sing, she stops whatever she's doing, raises her tiny hands in the air and begins wiggling her little fingers. She tends to be bashful at times and will hide her face in your shoulders. Then, she'll peek to see if you're still looking and if you are, she'll smile and hide her face again. She's also at that stage and determines who she'll let hold her. She is so sweet and lovable. Brianna eating carrots. She gets so mad when I take the spoon out of her mouth. She screams and hits her hand down on the tray. If she only understood that I'm reloading her food.
Bree doesn't mess around when it comes to eating.

Here's Bree on Christmas Day. She wasn't very happy because of all the pictures I was taking of her. Thank you Auntie for the new high chair. We love it!

Brianna sits by herself now and if she wouldn't play with her feet so much, she would sit a lot longer.

Brianna at the park

She'll grab her sippy cup and put it in her mouth to drink but when it comes to holding her bottle, she'll just open her mouth.

Brianna in her jumpy bouncer contraption. She has a blast in this thing. She jumps out of control. She'll even jump on one foot while the other is in the air. It's hilarious! Last night, she jumped high enough to grab the banana and parrot and shoved them in her mouth. She has also mastermined how to rotate the seat 360 degrees. It's quite entertaining to see her play.
The weather was so nice that my sister Victoria and I were able to take the girls to the park. Brianna has been to the park a few times but now she's old enough to sit in the swing. Although she looks serious, she was actually laughing while swinging. She would kick her legs and once she realized she could make the swing move, she would crack up. Brianna is such a sweet baby and not to mention very good (behavior wise).

The Lujans have been very busy and we are constantly on the go. To sum it up, we have traveled to San Francisco, had Christmas in Hanford and met my niece Audrey for the first time, went to valley to spend New Years with my family, Maddie began basketball and the list goes on. I will post some pictures of our holidays and trips. We hope all is well with everyone

Good sportsmanship!
Maddie started playing basketball 3 weeks ago. It is so much fun to see her play and interact with other kids. Watching 3-5 year olds play sports is hilarious. None of the kids dribble or follow any rules and occasionally Madison will stop in the middle of the game to converse with her teammates and the other team. She has a fun time playing and she sure does get her exercise. We signed up for T-Ball today and I'm beyond excited because softball was my sport. I'm looking very forward to helping her learn softball fundamentals and just watching her have a good time. She has also learned to be a little aggressive on the court especially because of the team she played today. Overall, Maddie is doing great. We are having trouble with behavior issues but she is still a sweetheart. She is such an AWESOME big sister and a big helper. For some reason she'll help change a dirty diaper and clean Bree's bottom but will not throw it away. She is very compassionate towards her baby sissy and gets so excited when she makes her laugh hysterically. Madison gets a kick when she asks Brianna for kisses and the baby will just slobber all over her face. It's so funny! Above are a few pictures of my sweetheart in action. Enjoy!
