I Can't Believe It!

Hi Everyone! We hope all is well with you all. As always, the Lujan Familia are constantly on the go and have been tied up with a few things. In the early month of March, my sweethearts were both sick for about 2 weeks, Madison wrapped up basketball, had a break for a few weeks and has now began T-ball. She has been playing for about 3 weeks. Brianna has quite a bit of things going on right now and somewhere in the midst of our busy lives, I somehow managed to make it to my 30th birthday- YIKES!!!! We have also traveled a few times down south to visit my family which is always fun especially for Madison because she gets to play with all her little cousins. April has been a busy and exciting month for Bree. During the week before Easter, she got 2 top teeth and a week later, 2 more top teeth. She now has a total of 6 teeth. She looks so adorable when she smiles. She also began crawling during that time. Crawling is new to me because Maddie never did but for some reason, Maddie seemed to be more active. Maybe because she was a climber- although Bree is headed up that road. She is very responsive to things, too! Maddie and I tell her "Arms up", "open/close your eyes", "blow kisses", ...etc. and she does it. It's so cute. Madison gets so excited when she's responsive to her. I refused to admit this 3 months ago but Brianna learned to say "Da-Da" and I was bummed. :0) But now she says "Mamma" and I love it! Whenever she sees a dog she says "wow-wow" and I've noticed that when Madison is in her view, she says "Shi-Shi" and I'm assuming she's trying to say sissy but I could be wrong. I can't believe she's going to be a year old in 3 months. I've also tried new foods with Brianna such as steamed rice, beans and pasta and she likes them all. Also, Brianna is still fighting the battle of eczema, which is very frustrating for the both of us. Hopefully she'll out grow it.

We're excited for spring but I sure do not look forward to the 100 degree weather during summer time. But now we'll be able to spend more time outside, which is always fun. Overall, my little girls are doing great. We have a few adventures coming our way such as Maddie's surprise birthday vacation in July which is a trip to Disneyland for a few days and sometime this weekend, I'm going to make reservations so that all the princess can bring out her birthday cake. She is going to be speechless! I can't wait to see her expression. During that same week, Brianna will have her first birthday party with a ladybug theme. We also got a trip with Jon's family in August and a San Diego/SeaWorld trip in September. We have a few little things such as the zoo and storyland in between our big trips. So I've been working as much overtime as I can to make this happen and I know it will all be worth it at the end. I know we'll all be exhausted and need days to recooperate but I'm looking forward to it all. I apologize for all the pictures but I couldn't help showing off my beautiful little girls! Enjoy.

Maddie and Bree at Maga and Grandpa's house.

Maddie and her new friend Whitey.

Maddie loves to smell flowers. Nana (my mom) bought her a new garden hat and grandma Ruthann put pretty princess ribbon on it. She looks so cute.

I just love my Love Bug!

Brianna loves to stand up and play with her activity table. Last night, she got her crib lowered. Earlier this week, she has begun to let her hands go to try and balance herself. I'm more afraid than she is. And yes, she has already fell and got a tiny bump on her forehead. Now, I'm definetly not getting the parent of the year award.

Bree loves being in the bath tub especially when her big sissy is in there to play with her.

What a cutie!

The weateher has been pretty nie and we've been able to go to the park. Maddie will ride her big girl bike while Brianna, Ruthann and I try to keep up with her. Brianna loves being in the swing. She laughs so hard, she can't stand it!

I LOVE this picture. You would never think Brianna is such a happy and smiley face baby. I'm very lucky if I get her to smile for my camera. Maddie always gets her to smile but it's a little hard when she's in the picture, too! Below is a perfect example.
I have expressed this before but Maddie is such a WONDERFUL big sister. She shows so much love and gives Brianna the time of day. Since she's been a little more moblile/ active than before, Maddie thinks she's the coolest baby sister ever. Brianna just lights up everytime she sees Maddie. Watching them interact is Priceless!

Gotta love those cute dimples.

On the way to home base. Her team is called the Grizzlies.

Batter up. I got the pictures in the wrong order. Being that it's her first time playing, I have to brag that Maddie is pretty good at this sport. It seems like it comes easy to her. A lot of the parents compliment her and I have to admit that it's pretty exciting.

Maddie has been recycling to earn money. She just collects things around the house and when I think she has enough to get her some money, we take a trip to the recycling center. She sorts out her plastics, glass, etc. and then the guys gives her the mney and a receipt. She gets a kick out of that. She recently bought an ice cream parlor for play-doh. NOw, keep in mind that I don't care for play-doh. :0) I also told her that she can earn money for doing other things but she's not going to get anything for doing chores she suppose to do like clean her room. I am so proud of her because I've been seeing less tantrums and hearing less screaming. Althought her behavior is still not the greatest, she's trying and I give her credit.

Auntie Maxine and Bree during one of our visits to the valley.

Maddie hunting for Easter eggs with her cousins. She had such a fun time because she usually hunts by herself back at home.

Brianna found her egg and it had money in it. But that didn't matter to her.
I just love my girls so much. There's not enough words to describe how much love I have for these 2 precious girls.
