2-Month Shots!

Brianna had her first set of shots on Tuesday. Seeing the girls get their shots is usually very hard for me but this time was extremely hard. Maddie had a meltdown because her "Sweetie" was getting shots. Totally sympathetic towards her baby sister's well-being. I had to explain to her why shots are necessary and after a while, she stopped caring what I had to say. When the nurse came in and put the syringes near Bree, the waterworks went into effect. She kept saying things like: "I don't want my baby to get shots", " I don't want Bree to feel pain because I love her", " Mom, don't you love Brianna?", and my all-time favorite and I'm not sure how this fit into the equation: " Mommy, she is my sweetie. Don't you understand! And you carried her in your tummy!" At the end of the visit, I had 2 screaming kids. So Madison walked away with candy and 8 princess stickers.

Brianna weighs 12 lbs. 10oz. 23 in. She is very healthy and grows strong everyday. She began holding up her head a few weeks ago and has become a drool machine. Her pediatrician said she is possibly teething. She loves when I rub her teething rings against her gums. She goos alot more and gives a ton of smiles !!! I love her smile and those cute dimples of hers. Every morning at 6:15, I tell her, " Good Morning, smiley face" and she starts talking and smiling. It's PRICELESS! There are times throughout the day when she's hanging out in her crib, bouncer or swing and when she sees me, she frowns and gives me the meanest look. But as soon as I walk away, I can hear her talking and making all sorts of noises. It's so funny. She also rolls over on her left side only. She is sleeping pretty well. I put her down between 8:00 and 9:00pm and she doesn't wake up until 6:15am. :0) I'm so thankful and very blessed to have such 2 precious daughters.

I went to visit my family a few weeks ago and took alot of cute pictures of the girls. Since I'm having technical difficulties with my camera, I'm unable to download them. But I'll post them as soon as I fix this darn thing.
